The Deacons Department is committed to the following key responsibilities
Compassionate Care
We offer a listening ear, a helping hand, and a caring heart to those in our church family who are facing challenges or in need of support. Our department is here to provide spiritual and emotional care.
Supportive Assistance
We assist with practical needs such as transportation, and visits to the sick or homebound, ensuring that our church members are well cared for.
Worship and Service
We actively participate in worship services and special church events, assisting in various capacities to enhance the worship experience for our congregation.
Benevolence and Outreach
We manage benevolence programs and initiatives aimed at assisting those facing financial difficulties or crises. Our department is also involved in community outreach and service projects.
Spiritual Leadership
We provide spiritual leadership within the church, assisting church leadership with various aspects of ministry, including conducting communion and baptism services.
Discipleship and Support
We walk alongside individuals in their faith journey, offering discipleship, mentorship, and support to help them grow in their relationship with Christ.
Prayer and Intercession
We believe in the power of prayer. In keeping with the church’s commitment to be a House Of Prayer Evermore our department engages in intercessory prayer for the needs of our church family, lifting up their concerns and joys to God.
