Our mission is to exemplify Christ’s love through acts of service, compassion, and care, meeting the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of our congregation and community.
The Deaconess Department is dedicated to the following key responsibilities
Compassionate Care
We extend a compassionate and caring heart to those in our church family who are facing challenges, illness, or need. Our department offers spiritual and emotional care to provide comfort, solace, and encouragement.
Supportive Assistance
We provide practical support and assistance to those in need, including helping with transportation, meal preparation, and visiting the sick or homebound members, ensuring they receive the care and support they require.
Worship and Service
We actively participate in our church’s worship services and special events, enhancing the worship experience for our congregation through our service, participation, and leadership.
Benevolence and Outreach
We manage benevolence programs and outreach initiatives to assist those facing financial difficulties or crises. Our department is also deeply involved in community outreach and service projects.
Spiritual Leadership
We offer spiritual leadership within the church, assisting church leaders with various aspects of ministry, including facilitating communion and baptism services.
Discipleship and Support
We offer discipleship, mentorship, and support to individuals seeking to deepen their faith and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Prayer and Intercession
In keeping with our commitment to be a House Of Prayer Evermore our department engages in intercessory prayer for the needs of our church family, seeking God’s guidance, comfort, and blessings.
