Refugee Ministry

"Following the Masters Lead"

Our ministry is for the Burmese community and the refugees in Clarkston GA. There are about eight dialects among the Burmese, the two dialects we are serving are the Karin and the Chin groups. They have been displaced by war or religious persecution from the government of Burma.

As the people of God, when we see our brother in need, and we don't help them, Christ says you have done this to me. When we bless those less fortunate than ourselves, we truly learn to experience the love of Christ.

Advent Hope has been a blessing to this group of Adventist in their struggles to find themselves in a new and harsh land.

My last comment is two texts that drive home the point what this ministry is all about.

Matthew 25:35-36 "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Matthew 25:40 "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Let's continue following the Masters lead!
